My Experience
On February 20, 2026, three friends and I traveled to Minnesota to go to the opening night of Conan Gray’s World Wishbone Tour. After traveling around four hours from Green Bay to the venue, it was dark outside, and the roads were full of snow and slush. Once we got into the city, it was hard to navigate, but luckily, there was a parking garage attached to the Target Event Center that was $15 to park in for the whole night. There were plenty of food options around the venue, and we ended up going to Mad Chicken, which was about a 5-minute walk. Once we headed back to the venue, it was easy to navigate our way through some hallways to the main entrance and wait in line for the doors to open at 6:00 pm. There were lots of young adults and teenagers all dressed up in Conan Gray-related songs, or pajamas, as it was the pajama show. Sailor hats everywhere, and when the doors opened, the line moved fast, going through security. If you had a bag, it took a little bit longer as they had to be searched, and I saw some people had to take off bigger chains as they were not allowed into the venue.
After getting to the second floor, the merchandise was placed in a corner of the concourse, and the line wrapped about 200 feet or 5 school buses, which we estimated would take about an hour and a half to get through. The line moved quickly, and we got through the whole thing within half an hour. There were many different areas of concessions which had different types of food, from burgers, hot dogs, pizza, pretzels, and regular drinks. We got water, which was about $5 per water. There were stands selling alcohol, which were not busy, as most of the fans were underage. Once we got into the bowl, they had areas for ADA, where people were also taking photos with the stage in the background. We got to our seats that were in section 104 row K, and the stage was in the shape of a wishbone, and we had a good view.
The opener, Esha Tewari, had a short set that started at 8:00 pm and was only on stage for about 35 minutes, and gave calm vibes for the crowd to start. The seats were comfortable, and they had cupholders in the seats in front of you. They did take the caps off our drinks, so be aware of that. At 9:02 pm, Conan came on stage riding his bike and started with his song ‘My World’. He sang twenty-one songs, including an unreleased song called ‘The Best’, and put on a show with his outfit changes, set designs, and camera angles. It was truly a great show with lots of emotion and energy, and the show was done by 10:45 pm. It took us 5 minutes to get out of the bowl and about 15 minutes to get back to our car from there. Exits were clearly marked, and people were very respectful and responsible for getting out of the venue. Leaving the parking garage was easy, but a little cramped; once you got out, it was easy to get straight onto the highway to leave.
Altogether, the venue was clean, comfortable, accessible, and a great experience for everyone. Conan was an amazing artist who you can have fun with even if you do not know all of his songs.
